A road crash involving a purple Mack truck and a maroon salon car caused heavy traffic on Monday at the Cele area of Lagos State.
The incident, which occurred along the ever-busy Oshodi–Apapa Expressway, drew the attention of passers-by, motorists and commercial bus drivers, many of whom rushed to the scene to assist. A traffic enforcement officer was also sighted coordinating movement around the affected lane.
Although no life was lost, the driver of the salon car sustained injuries and was attended to by bystanders pending further medical care. The impact of the collision left the car visibly damaged, while the truck bore signs of minor dents.

The crash further compounded the usual congestion in the area as onlookers gathered, causing a temporary gridlock before traffic officials restored order.
Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the accident.
