Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, says the military will ramp up its fight against terrorism across the country.
He spoke after a closed-door discussion with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, on Monday, the 3rd of November, 2025.
The CDS dismissed the claim by US President Donald Trump, insisting the country is not targeting Christians. Trump had recently tagged Nigeria a ‘Country of Particular Concern’ over accusations of Christian genocide.
