Charly Boy Marks Independence Day in Meeting with Obasanjo

Veteran entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed how he marked Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day with a private breakfast meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Charly Boy, in a video posted on his official Facebook page on Thursday, shared clips of himself seated at a breakfast table with the elder statesman at Obasanjo’s residence.

“Dis na how I spend my October 1st, with The Baba of dem all, OBJ. Baba summoned me to have breakfast with him,” Charlie Boy wrote.

According to him, their conversation centered on issues of men’s health and the state of the nation.

“We talked about men’s health and Nigeria. The tins wey responsible Nigerian men dey go through no be small matter. Men, una dey try. Well done. It shall be well with us,” he added.

The former President, often referred to as “OBJ,” remains an influential voice in Nigeria’s political landscape, while Charly Boy has long been vocal on issues affecting governance and citizens’ welfare.
