Popular Nigerian entertainer, Charly Boy, has triggered mixed reactions on social media after celebrating his daughter and her female husband.
Charly Boy, in a post shared on his Facebook page on Friday, described his daughter as his “beautiful Princess” and asked his followers to wish the couple well.
He wrote, “My beautiful Princess and her Husband. Folks, wish dem well for me.”

However, the post attracted a wave of reactions, with several Facebook users declining to extend their goodwill to the couple.
One of the commenters, Echezona Udeachu, wrote, “God forbid me to wish them well.”
Other users also expressed similar sentiments in the comment section, with many rejecting Charly Boy’s request to wish the couple well.
The reactions have since generated further discussion among social media users, although Charly Boy has not publicly responded to the comments.
