Edo Queens will face Burkina Faso champions USFA on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for a place in the WAFU-B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying final in Ouagadougou.
The semi-final at the Stade du 4 Août pits Group B runners-up Edo Queens against Group A winners USFA.
Edo Queens opened their campaign with a 7-0 win over Niger’s AS Garde Nationale on August 24 and followed it with a 3-1 victory against Côte d’Ivoire’s ASEC Mimosas on August 27.
Their winning run ended on August 30 when Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies rallied to beat them 2-1. Atume Doosuur put Edo Queens ahead in the 11th minute, but Rebecca Assemani equalised before Milot Pokuaa struck the winner in the 78th minute.

Ampem Darkoa topped Group B with nine points, while Edo Queens advanced second with 11 goals from three matches.
USFA reached the last four after winning both Group A matches. They beat Dynamique FC of Benin 3-0 before defeating Togo’s ASKO de Kara 4-0, scoring seven goals without conceding.
The clash offers Edo Queens a chance to revive their bid for another continental appearance after winning the WAFU-B qualifiers in 2024 and reaching the CAF Women’s Champions League semi-finals that year.
The other semi-final will see Ampem Darkoa face Dynamique FC on Wednesday.
Victory would send Edo Queens into the WAFU-B final and move them one step closer to another CAF Women’s Champions League qualification.
