Industry Minister Hails HCSF Over Civil Service Reforms, Digital Transformation

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, has commended the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation for driving transparency, efficiency and digital transformation across Nigeria’s Civil Service.

Speaking during the ongoing International Civil Service Week programme, Dr. Oduwole praised the collaborative efforts between the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, ministers and key stakeholders in strengthening governance and improving service delivery within the public sector.

The minister described the Civil Service as the backbone of the achievements being recorded under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that effective public institutions remain critical to the successful implementation of government policies and programmes.

She further emphasized the importance of sustained reforms aimed at building a more transparent, innovative and citizen-focused Civil Service capable of responding to the demands of a modern economy.

Highlighting the contributions of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Oduwole said the ministry has continued to play a strategic role in supporting businesses, attracting investments, boosting non-oil exports and creating employment opportunities for Nigerians.

According to her, the ministry remains committed to policies and initiatives that will strengthen economic growth, enhance industrial development and improve Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global market.

The International Civil Service Week programme continues to provide a platform for discussions on reforms, innovation and strategies for improving public sector performance and service delivery in Nigeria.
