INEC Announces Commencement Of Final Phase Of CVR Exercise

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the commencement of the third and final phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

INEC made the announcement in a post shared on its verified Facebook page on Monday, calling on eligible Nigerians to take part in the exercise ahead of future elections.

According to the electoral body, the final phase of the CVR exercise is expected to provide opportunities for new voter registration, transfer of voter details, and correction of personal information for existing voters.

The commission urged citizens who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards to visit designated registration centres and complete the process before the exercise closes.

INEC stated that the exercise remains part of ongoing efforts to strengthen voter participation and ensure a more inclusive electoral process across the country.

The announcement was accompanied by the hashtag #3rdandFinalPhaseCVRExercise as the commission intensified awareness ahead of the exercise.
