Kenneth Okonkwo: ADC Will Topple Tinubu in 2027 Election

Nollywood actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo has confidently predicted that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will win the 2027 elections and succeed the Bola Tinubu-led administration.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise programme on Monday, September 22, Okonkwo dismissed concerns about the party’s recent performance in by-elections, insisting that past results do not reflect ADC’s true potential.

“The party should not be judged by the results of the August 16 by-elections,” he said, referring to the contests held across 16 constituencies.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced that the ruling All Progressives Congress won 12 of the 16 seats.

When asked about ADC’s chances in 2027, Okonkwo stated, “We stand a chance in every election in Nigeria.”

He, however, acknowledged that contests whose primaries were conducted before the new party leadership under David Mark took office were exceptions.

“But I wouldn’t say the same thing for any election for which the primaries have been conducted before the coming into existence of David Mark’s leadership.

“Because we are not part of the people who decided that. That’s why I’m saying the true test of ADC will be in 2027,” he added.

Okonkwo further asserted, “We are going to form the next government in Nigeria. And send Tinubu to Bourdillon.”
