The Lagos State Government has fixed Thursday, September 11, for the 2025 Job Fair scheduled to take place at the Blue Roof, Lagos Television, Ikeja.
The fair, organised by the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, will run under the theme:
“Your Career, Your Way: Explore Endless Possibilities”.
It is aimed at tackling unemployment by linking job seekers directly with employers and business opportunities.
Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, explained that this year’s edition will feature instant recruitment exercises, career advisory sessions, and panel discussions with top industry experts.

Practical workshops on résumé writing, interview readiness, digital skills, and entrepreneurship will also be part of the programme.
Ajigbotafe noted that more than 3,000 people took part in the 2024 fair, with several gaining employment, adding that the 2025 edition is expected to build on that success.
Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Wasiu Adebayo Olayinka, encouraged prospective participants to register, assuring that adequate arrangements are in place to host a hitch-free event.
