A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), aligned with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, has approved the formation of a 13-member Caretaker Committee with Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Tanimu Turaki, appointed as chairman.
The decision was reached during the faction’s 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Monday in Abuja.
The resolution followed a motion presented by Edo State PDP Chairman, Tony Aziegbemi, and seconded by party ex-officio member, Clement Fagboyede.
