NYSC Releases 2026 Batch B Stream II Deployment For Niger, Sokoto

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment details for prospective corps members assigned to Niger and Sokoto states under the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation exercise.

The announcement was made by the NYSC on Sunday through its official X handle, with prospective corps members posted to the two states now able to print their call-up letters.

The Corps stated that the deployment had been activated for both states, urging affected Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) to proceed with printing their call-up letters.

The development follows an earlier adjustment to the commencement of the orientation course in Niger and Sokoto due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps.

With the revised schedule, the orientation programme for the two states is now set to begin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The cut-off and swearing-in ceremony will take place on Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1.

The NYSC said the delay was necessitated by renovation projects being carried out at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.

The Corps also advised prospective corps members travelling to Niger and Sokoto to plan their journeys properly and avoid night travel for safety reasons.

Prospective corps members posted to the two states are therefore expected to print their call-up letters and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the revised orientation programme.
