The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has published the schedule for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation, outlining important dates for prospective corps members nationwide.
The timetable shows that mobilisation activities started with briefing sessions for final-year students and intending corps members, which ran from February 23 to March 27.
NYSC officials said the schedule serves as “a clear guide” for individuals getting ready for their service year.
Pre-camp physical verification for graduates from foreign institutions was conducted between March 24 and 28, according to the scheme.
The NYSC’s information technology unit is scheduled to handle data processing and deployment arrangements from April 9 to 17.

Prospective participants are required to download and print their call-up letters between April 19 and 21, which is an essential requirement before heading to orientation camps.
The corps warned that “all dates are tentative and subject to change” and encouraged candidates to stay updated through official channels.
While the orientation programme is set to begin after call-up letters become available, the scheme has not yet announced the specific date when camps will open.
Before joining the mandatory one-year service, prospective corps members must complete multiple steps including verification, deployment, and documentation.
The NYSC advised participants to adhere strictly to the timetable, warning that skipping any phase could cause delays in starting the service year.
