The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has said Nigeria’s security challenges can only be fully addressed through divine intervention, urging citizens to place their trust in God.
Kumuyi made the remarks while speaking to journalists after paying a courtesy visit to Hyacinth Alia at the Benue State Government House.
The visit formed part of activities preceding the week-long Global Crusade scheduled to hold in Gboko and Otukpo Local Government Areas of the state.
Reflecting on the country’s security situation, Kumuyi said lasting solutions would come from God rather than human efforts alone.
“God remains the ultimate solution to the nation’s challenges. We know that, when bad things happen, there are people who are responsible for it, but the people are not the solution. God is our problem solver,” he said.

Representing Governor Alia during the meeting, Benue State Deputy Governor Sam Ode highlighted the state’s economic potential and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to development.
Ode said Benue possesses abundant agricultural and human resources capable of driving growth and prosperity.
He added that the Alia administration remains focused on promoting peace, unity and inclusiveness to create an environment where residents can live and work without fear.
The Global Crusade is expected to attract thousands of worshippers from within and outside Benue State, with prayers centred on spiritual renewal, peace and national transformation.
Benue has remained one of the states most affected by insecurity in recent years, with recurring attacks in several communities prompting renewed calls from religious and community leaders for both stronger security measures and sustained efforts to promote peace.
