The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has been honoured by the World Book of Records, London, in recognition of his contributions to education, humanitarian service, leadership and global outreach.
Kumuyi announced the recognition on Sunday through his official X account, where he shared an inclusion letter from the international records organisation.
Expressing gratitude for the honour, the cleric said his mission remains focused on evangelism despite the recognition.
“I received an Inclusion Letter from the World Book of Records, London. Humbled by this recognition, my focus remains unchanged: winning souls for Christ,” Kumuyi wrote.
He also highlighted the impact of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), noting that over the past five years, the outreach had reached more than 50 million people worldwide, with over 900,000 individuals making decisions for Christ.
“Through five years of GCK, God enabled us to reach over 50 million lives and see more than 900,000 saved. All glory to God alone,” he added.
According to the inclusion letter signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the World Book of Records, Santosh Shukla, Kumuyi was recognised under the organisation’s prestigious Excellence (E1) category.

The organisation said the honour was bestowed on the renowned preacher for his exceptional contributions to education, academic excellence, visionary leadership, humanitarian initiatives, community development and faith-based global outreach that have positively impacted millions of lives across continents.
The World Book of Records explained that the Excellence (E1) category is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements and distinguished service in areas including academics, professional excellence, humanitarian work and social development.
It added that recipients of the award are recognised for setting high standards of leadership and service while inspiring future generations through their accomplishments.
The organisation congratulated Kumuyi on the recognition and wished him continued success in his efforts to advance educational, humanitarian and faith-based initiatives around the world.
