The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated a 110-member National Organising Committee to prepare for its 2025 elective national convention scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The decision follows a resolution of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), which approved Ibadan as host of the two-day convention.
In a statement posted on its official X handle on Monday, the PDP said the committee will oversee logistics and ensure a smooth conduct of the convention.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, will chair the committee, with Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, and senior lawyer Kabir Tanimu Turaki serving as deputy chairmen.

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, was named secretary, while Senator Adolphus Wabara will represent the Board of Trustees as chairman.
The list also features prominent party leaders including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, former Delta Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, ex-Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike, and former Senate President David Mark, among others.
The Ibadan convention is expected to produce a new set of national officers who will lead the party into the 2027 general elections.
