Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 6 Brigade and Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have cleared several terrorist hideouts and recovered arms, uniforms, and a stolen motorcycle during a raid in Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The operation, conducted under Exercise Operation LAFIYA NAKOWA, targeted terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements in remote parts of the state. Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Lt. A follow-up search led to the recovery of an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, military uniforms, two fragmental jackets, and a Jincheng motorcycle suspected to have been stolen in an earlier attack.
