Bayo Onanuga on Wednesday disclosed that Prince William and Princess Catherine met and greeted Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu at the Fairmont Hotel before their short ride to Windsor Castle, where they were expected to meet their host, King Charles III.
The brief encounter formed part of the official engagements scheduled during President Tinubu’s visit to the United Kingdom. The reception at the hotel highlighted the diplomatic significance of the trip, which includes high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Nigeria and the UK.
