Raising Children in an AI World: LagosMums Announces 11th Annual Parenting Conference

LagosMums, one of Nigeria’s leading parenting communities, has announced the 11th edition of its Annual Parenting Conference, themed “Raising Children in an AI World.”

The conference is scheduled to hold virtually on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (WAT), and will focus on equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge and tools to raise children in a rapidly evolving technological landscape shaped by artificial intelligence.

Organisers say this year’s event will feature experts across diverse fields, including education, child psychology, mental health, online safety, and digital literacy, who will examine the impact of AI on modern parenting and child development.

A statement posted on LagosMums’ official X account noted that the conference aims to help parents understand how AI is influencing children’s learning, social interaction, and moral development, while providing practical strategies for creating balance and safety in digital spaces.
