The Rivers State Police Command has joined institutions around the world in commemorating the 2025 Customer Service Week, emphasizing professionalism, transparency, and people-centered policing across the state.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, on Friday, the Command said the event, themed “Mission Possible,” underscores its commitment to excellence in service delivery and fostering stronger relationships with the public.
The celebration, held in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), highlights the dedication of police personnel who provide essential support to citizens and maintain public order.
Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju, expressed appreciation to the people of Rivers State for their continued cooperation and support for the Nigeria Police Force.

He assured residents that the Command remains resolute in its collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders to sustain peace and security across the state.
“The Command reaffirms its dedication to transparency, respect, and excellence in service delivery, fostering public trust and confidence through responsive policing and community safety initiatives,” the statement read.
As part of the Customer Service Week observance, the Command urged members of the public to maintain their engagement with the police through constructive feedback and community participation, noting that such collaboration is vital in building a safer and more peaceful Rivers State.
