Ronaldo Departs Riyadh As Regional Tensions Escalate

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly left Saudi Arabia overnight as security concerns intensify amid rising hostilities in the Middle East.

The Al Nassr captain is said to have boarded his £61 million Bombardier Global Express private jet and flown to Madrid, Spain, in what sources describe as a precautionary move.

Ronaldo, 41, resides in Riyadh, a city that has come under sustained attacks as tensions between regional powers escalated into a fourth consecutive day.

Reports indicate that multiple areas in the Saudi capital were struck, while the United States embassy compound in the city was allegedly targeted by drones overnight.

Iranian state media has also claimed that a command and staff facility in Bahrain was destroyed during the wave of strikes, further heightening fears of broader instability across the Gulf region.

Flight tracking data shows that Ronaldo’s aircraft departed Riyadh at approximately 8pm local time and completed the near seven-hour journey to Madrid shortly after 1am.

Despite the disruption, Al Nassr remain in contention for the Saudi Pro League title.

It remains unclear how long the Portuguese forward intends to stay in Spain as the situation in the region continues to unfold.
