Governor Dikko Radda on Monday, March 2, 2026, approved a cabinet reshuffle that includes the nomination of two commissioner-designates and the appointment of a new head for the state’s environmental agency, according to an official statement from the government.
The governor forwarded the names of Alhaji Muhammad Sani Ali Ahmad and Alhaji Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa to the Katsina State House of Assembly for legislative screening and confirmation.
Their appointments will take effect only upon approval by the assembly, in line with statutory procedures governing executive appointments.
Radda also appointed Barrister Suleiman Mohammed Namadi as Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency, the agency responsible for mitigating environmental degradation and addressing soil erosion and watershed management challenges across the state.

In addition, the governor approved the appointment of several senior aides to strengthen policy coordination and service delivery.
The new appointees include Hajiya Jamila Salman, Alhaji Ibrahim Danjuma, Alhaji Muddasir Mati, Alhaji Musa Dankawu, and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur, who will serve as special assistants.
The changes were announced in a statement issued on Monday, March 2, 2026, by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed.
The statement emphasized that the appointments are aimed at enhancing governance efficiency and supporting the administration’s development agenda.
The reshuffle reflects the administration’s ongoing efforts to optimize its team structure and strengthen institutional capacity for improved public service delivery in Katsina State.
