Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr forward, will miss Portugal’s international friendlies next week due to injury concerns.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Friday, the decision followed discussions between Al Nassr and Portugal’s backroom staff, with both sides agreeing to prioritise the player’s full recovery.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Portugal squad for the friendly games next week as he’s still injured. Priority to full recovery after discussions between Al Nassr and Portugal backroom staff,” the post read.
Ronaldo is undergoing rehabilitation, and medical teams have ruled out taking risks ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures. His absence is a precautionary measure to ensure he regains full fitness before returning to action for club and country.
