Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a committed democrat and a leader whose legacy continues to shape Nigeria’s progress.

The governor praised Tinubu’s longstanding dedication to public service, noting that his political career reflects a deep commitment to democratic values, good governance, and national development.
“President Tinubu is a tested and trusted democrat who has devoted much of his life to public service,” Sanwo-Olu said, adding that the president’s contributions have had a lasting impact on both Lagos State and the nation at large.
He commended Tinubu’s leadership style, particularly his willingness to take difficult decisions, which he said are necessary for addressing Nigeria’s challenges and improving the lives of citizens.
