Shehu Sani, former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, has criticized the United Nations, describing it as a helpless organization.
Sani shared his thoughts on Saturday, the 3rd of January, 2026, via his verified X handle while responding to the US invasion of Venezuela.
Reports indicate that US President Donald Trump announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife on the same day.
Reacting to the development, the former senator wrote, “The UN is now docile, dormant, moribund and helpless organisation. We now live in a World where might is right and World leaders are bullied to silence.

“In the face of blatant foreign aggression and invasion of Venezuela, even European leaders are saying they are just closely monitoring.
“The good side of it is that one day, our Children will review our posts and read where we stand on these illegal acts of aggression by Mr Trump.”
