Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on Friday, September 5, 2025, released a documentary video on his X account highlighting key projects completed under his administration’s urban renewal programme.
The documentary featured the newly constructed bridge at the Ekwulobia roundabout, new road projects across the state, the installation of boreholes in rural communities, and the establishment of Solution General Hospital in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area.
It also showed the transformation of Ochanja roundabout in Onitsha, which previously served as a refuse dump but has now been converted into a water fountain and public attraction.
“Anambra is rising, and at the heart of this transformation is a bold vision for urban renewal. We are intentional in our approach, committed to building new cities while upgrading existing ones to create a modern, sustainable, and inclusive Anambra for all. May Anambra continue to win,” Soludo wrote.

The governor said the projects reflect his administration’s development agenda and expressed optimism that ongoing urban regeneration efforts would continue to reshape the state.
He urged residents to support the drive to achieve a more modern and inclusive Anambra.
