The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on arch-rivals Ghana in an international friendly on Saturday, July 18, as part of their final preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed that the high-profile encounter will be played at the Stade El Arbi Zaouli, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 p.m. West Africa Time (WAT).
The fixture is expected to provide head coach Justine Madugu and his technical crew with a final opportunity to assess the squad and fine-tune tactics ahead of the continental championship.
Nigeria, the most successful team in the history of the competition with a record 10 WAFCON titles, will begin the defence of their crown against Malawi on July 28.

The Super Falcons will be aiming to build momentum with a strong performance against the Black Queens of Ghana before shifting their focus to reclaiming continental glory in Morocco.
