Nigerian media personality and entrepreneur Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has officially been confirmed by Guinness World Records for breaking two world records in a single marathon beauty session.
Tacha now holds the record for the most cosmetic makeovers in 8 hours (82 makeovers) and in 24 hours (144 makeovers).
The attempt took place at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos on 11 October 2025, with each makeover meeting strict Guinness guidelines on foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadows, mascara, lip liner, gloss, finishing powder, and eyebrow styling.
Reacting on her verified Instagram account, Tacha expressed gratitude and emotion:
“FIRST NIGERIAN TO BREAK 2 RECORDS AT A GO!!! … The sleepless nights. The generator hum. The prayers at 3AM. Swollen feet. Shaky hands that kept going … and then GRACE. Grace that does not lie.”

She also credited her team and fans for their support throughout the marathon, which included heavy rain, power outages, and long hours of meticulous work.
The confirmation establishes Tacha as the first Nigerian to achieve two Guinness World Records in a single sitting and the fastest makeup artist in the world.
The milestone highlights not only her skill and endurance but also the growing recognition of Nigerian talent on a global stage.
