President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has mourned the deaths of two members of the Kano State House of Assembly who died within hours of each other on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, describing the losses as sad, tragic, and painful.
In a condolence message issued on Friday, December 26, 2025, Tinubu said the lawmakers, Aminu Saad Ungogo (representing Ungogo Constituency) and Aliyu Sarki Daneji (representing Kano Municipal Constituency), had created a void by their sudden passing and had deprived their constituencies of committed representation.
“I offer my condolences to their families and constituents as well as the government and people of Kano State,” the president said.
