He disclosed the plan on Thursday, July 24, during the party’s 14th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Tinubu said the project is now on the cards.

Currently, the APC operates from Muhammadu Buhari House, located at 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja.

The party moved into the building in 2021 after its Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee completed a ₦2.5 billion payment for the property and named it in honour of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

While Buhari House has hosted several major party meetings, Thursday’s NEC session was held at the Presidential Villa, sparking speculation about a potential transition.

With Tinubu’s latest announcement, the APC may soon have a new political home designed to reflect its status and ambitions.
