Ubi Franklin Backs Tinubu, Cross River Leaders Ahead Of 2027 Elections

Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has officially declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a post shared on X on Friday, March 27, 2026, Franklin described backing Tinubu as his constitutional right and urged citizens to exercise their political freedom.

Beyond the presidential endorsement, Franklin extended support to key Cross River State leaders, including Governor Bassey Otu, Benedict Ayade for Cross River North Senatorial District, Asuquo Ekpenyong for Cross River South, and Eteng Jones Williams.

The announcement followed Franklin’s attendance at a political gathering at the “Asiwaju Command Center,” where he was photographed alongside associates, including Seyi Tinubu, reinforcing his alignment with the president’s political network.

Born Ubi‑Franklin Ekapong Ofem on February 2, 1986, in Cross River State, Franklin is a renowned music manager and entrepreneur, founder of Made Men Music Group (Triple MG), and former Special Adviser on Tourism to Governor Benedict Ayade.

The endorsements arrive amid heightened political activity nationwide as parties and public figures position themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections.
