Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has said that losing his wife while in office remains the most painful experience of his tenure.

Eno, who spoke during an interaction with journalists in Uyo on Friday, described the loss as a personal tragedy that continues to shape his outlook on leadership and life.

He explained that while governance has brought opportunities to serve the people and deliver on campaign promises, the death of his wife left a void that no achievement in office could fill.
