Nigerian carrier ValueJet will begin direct flights between Lagos and Accra, Ghana, on Monday, March 30, 2026, marking a significant step in its regional expansion across West Africa.
The service will operate daily return flights, departing Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 8:00 a.m. and returning from Accra at 9:00 a.m.
Passengers can now secure tickets through ValueJet’s official website.
Omololu Majekodunmi, Managing Director, described the route as a strategic move to boost trade, tourism, and cultural ties between Nigeria and Ghana.
He said the service will provide travelers with reliable and cost-effective options for both business and leisure.

The Lagos–Accra route follows ValueJet’s first international operation to Banjul, The Gambia, in May 2025, and comes as the airline plans further expansion to Cotonou in Benin Republic and Malabo in Equatorial Guinea.
Founded in 2018 by entrepreneur Kunle Soname, ValueJet began commercial operations in October 2022, initially connecting Lagos to domestic cities including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Asaba, and Jos.
The airline has steadily grown its network, establishing itself as a competitive player in West African aviation.
With this launch, ValueJet reinforces its commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and expanding accessible air travel options across West Africa.
