Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Benin Zonal Directorate, have arrested 47 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo State with a Pump Action rifle and live cartridges recovered from one of the suspects.
Their arrest on Friday followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
The Commission disclosed this in a statement accompanied by photos shared on its Facebook page on Friday.

Other items recovered from them include six vehicles, mobile phones and laptop computers.
The EFCC stated that the suspects would be charged to court upon completion of investigations.
