Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has cleared another set of commissioner-nominees for inclusion in the State Executive Council.
The new list features Dr Elizabeth Ebosele, Hon. Christopher Ewere Okaeben, and Hon. Festus Odianosen Ebea.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Friday, the 26th of September, 2025, in Benin City.
With these fresh additions, the total number of commissioners so far nominated and appointed by Governor Okpebholo has risen to 29.
From the earlier 26 nominees who received confirmation, only nine have taken the oath of office and currently hold portfolios.

Hon. Festus Ebea and Hon. Christopher Okaeben, both on the latest list, previously served as lawmakers in the Edo State House of Assembly. Ebea, a former Deputy Speaker, represented Esan South East constituency, while Okaeben represented Oredo West constituency.
