The President left Abuja on August 30 to begin the three-week leave, which the Presidency described as a working vacation.

Before his departure, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said Tinubu would return to Nigeria after the break and join preparations for the January 2027 general election.

The latest trip follows a similar pattern in 2025, when Tinubu spent part of his 10-working-day annual leave in France and the UK.

He is expected back in Abuja at the end of the scheduled break.
