The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked a viral report claiming to outline the cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections, describing the information as false.
The report, which circulated widely on Friday, alleged that presidential aspirants would be required to pay N200 million for nomination forms, while candidates contesting state assembly seats would pay N20 million.
Reacting in a statement on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, clarified that the purported price list did not originate from the APC.
“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported “price list” for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections.
The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party,” Morka said.

He further stressed that the party had not taken any decision or made any official announcement regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the upcoming elections.
“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections,” he said.
Morka dismissed the circulating report as baseless, calling it “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”
He also urged party members, media organisations, and the general public to ignore the report entirely.
