Tinubu Swears In Eight RMAFC, NPC Commissioners

President Bola Tinubu on Monday, June 29, 2026, swore in eight federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and the National Population Commission (NPC) ahead of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The inauguration followed the Senate’s confirmation of the appointments, with two commissioners deployed to the RMAFC and six to the NPC.

The RMAFC commissioners are Hajiya Amina Ibrahim Gamawa (Bauchi) and Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad (Kaduna).

Those sworn in for the NPC are Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya (Zamfara), Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti), Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina), Suleiman Umar (Jigawa), Dr. Isiaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara) and Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto).

The appointments strengthen the leadership of two key constitutional commissions. The RMAFC oversees revenue mobilization and advises on revenue sharing among the three tiers of government, while the NPC manages civil registration, population data and demographic statistics essential for national planning.

The swearing-in preceded the Monday, June 29, 2026, meeting of the Federal Executive Council chaired by the President.
